This report describes the method employed to demonstrate that a fatal hypoglycemic episode was due to marked beef hyperinsulinemia. From the rate of disappearance of the circulating insulin, the most likely type of insulin preparation employed was determined along with the estimated time and probable route of occult insulin administration. Keywords
