Abstract
A method of operative mesenteric arteriography is presented. The findings are correlated with those of subsequent surgical specimen injections and their microangiograms. Vascular patterns of cancer of the colon and stomach have been studied and compared with the angio-architecture of benign neoplastic and inflammatory diseases in these organs. Criteria for their differentiation are established. A method of direct photographic enlargements of areas of the arteriograms to the tenth power (deca-arteriography) has been evaluated. Microangiography contributed to the basic understanding of the different vascular patterns. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
