Abstract
The tribe Hormiini is reviewed, and criteria for including or excluding various genera are discussed. A key to the world genera is presented, and many new distribution records are provided. Anhormius Belokobylskij and Hormiellus Enderlein are synonymized under Hormius Nees, Leurinion Muesebeck synonymized under Allobracon Gahan, and Apotheopius Fischer under Monitoriella Hedqvist. The status of the Lysitermini is examined in detail. Seven new species and one new genus are described, and a key to New World Parahormius is provided. Keywords
