SERUM GLUTAMIC OXALACETIC TRANSAMINASE LEVELS IN DIPHTHERITIC MYOCARDITIS

Abstract
In six cases of severe diptheria, serial serum glutamic oxalacetic transaminase (SGOT) estimations and daily ecgs were carried out. Three of the cases complicated by myocarditis showed abnormally elevated levels of SGOT which correlated with the ecgs.Keywords
