Abstract
The effect of different chelating agents on growth and flowering of Lemna gibba G 3 was studied in M and HUTNER'S media. The incorporation of EDDHA and Fe-EDDHA in the media resulted in profuse flowering and gibbous character of the fronds. However, EDTA was relatively less effective. It was demonstrated that the metal which influenced flowering in L. gibba G 3 was most likely copper.Keywords
