Abstract
Much research is still needed before the new insecticide DDVP (Dimethyl 2,2-dichlorovinyl phosphate) can be made available for general public use. Only one company is now in pilot plant production of this new compound. Its discovery has been dedicated to the public and any manufacturer may engage in its production in the United States without seeking a license from the Government. Its eventual registration and sale in this country will be subject to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, as are all insecticides. Keywords
