Abstract
Existing methods of scoring androgyny and a recommendation to use the geometric mean formula for estimating androgyny are presented. This produces interval data and retains valuable information. Compared with existing methods of scoring androgyny, the geometric mean is easier to compute, gives generally higher correlations with masculinity and femininity, and produces more normal distributions. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
