Abstract
Patients (14) with 26 keratoacanthomas (KA) were treated weekly with intralesional injections of fluorouracil. Twenty-five lesions cleared in an average of 3 wk (range, 2-8 wk) after an average of 2.8 injections. One KA failed to respond after 5 weekly injections and was excised. No recurrences or meaningful side effects were observed. Treatment of KA with intralesional fluorouracil injections was a safe, effective, and convenient mode of treatment yielding excellent cosmetic results. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
