Abstract
Tetra(2,6-dimethylphenyl)disilene reacts with (2,6-dimethylphenyl)isocyanide in benzene solution at room temperature to form disilacyclopropanimine (1), a bright red crystalline compound with λmax=; 510nm, whose structure was established by X-ray crystallography.Keywords
