Abstract
During lactation in the rat the endometrium was found to be sensitized (as a result of activity of the corpus luteum), so that deciduomata could be produced by mechanical trauma, from the 4th-16th days after delivery. During this period deciduomata were obtained in 32 of 36 expts. Sensitivity rapidly diminishes on the 17th day and is not present on the 18th and 19th days. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
