Abstract
The photoelectron angular distribution parameter has been measured in the energy region 0-34 eV above threshold for argon 3p electrons, using a synchrotron light source. The cross section of the argon 3s subshell has also been measured in the 0-20 eV region above its threshold. Both sets of data are compared with recent theoretical calculations. Keywords
