Abstract
The materials precipitated from sodium aluminate solutions by interaction with a stream of carbon dioxide at under various conditions have been examined by X‐ray diffraction, infra‐red spectroscopy, thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis. The preparation of pure bayerite has been investigated on the basis of the results obtained. Keywords
