Abstract
This paper presents a discussion of the current professional disagreements related to learning disabilities, the role and scope of speech pathology in the assessment and remediation of learning disabilities, and a review of the literature regarding the terminolgy of learning disabilities. Miss Pannbacker's chart of the nomenclature used in the field of learning disabilities giving term, author and date of publication is a valuable contribution which gives us a clear and concise overview of the literature.—C.
