Abstract
An asymptotic formula for the diagonal nuclear motion corrections is derived for the hydrogen molecule, and a discussion is given of the errors which arise in the adiabatic dissociation energies from the failure of the adiabatic approximation to yield the exact energy of the dissociation products.Keywords
