Abstract
Twenty-nail dystrophy is an idiopathic nail dystrophy that begins insidiously in early childhood. All 20 nails are uniformly affected with excessive longitudinal striations and loss of nail luster. The skin and its ectodermal derivatives are otherwise normal.
