Abstract
The principles of ferrokinetics, expecially the determination of the plasma iron clearance, the plasma iron turnover, the utilization rate, and the localization of erythropoiesis are presented. According to our results in different haematologic disorders only osteomyelofibrosclerosis and aplastic anaemia are an indication for ferrokinetics. The importance of this procedure is illustrated by some typical case reports. Es werden die Prinzipien der Ferrokinetik mit59Fe mit Bestimmung der Plasma-Eisen-Verschwindensrate, des Plasma-Eisen-Umsatzes, der59Fe-Utilisation und Lokalisation der Erythropoese dargestellt. Aus den Ergebnissen bei verschiedenen hämatologischen Erkrankungen wird die Indikation für die Durchführung dieser Untersuchung insbesondere bei aplastischen Syndromen und bei der Osteomyelofibrosklerose abgeleitet und an einzelnen Fall-beispielen belegt.
