Abstract
Patients with rheumatoid arthritis have low blood pyruvic and citric acid concns. Admn. of cortisone or ACTH raises the pyruvate level to normal when a clinical response occurs. The citrate concn. is not affected. In unresponsive cases, pyruvate is unchanged.Keywords
