Abstract
The dispersion relations for plasmon–optical-phonon coupled surface waves have been derived, with use of Bloch’s hydrodynamic model, for polar semiconductors of spherical and cylindrical shapes. The dispersion relations for metal crystals can be obtained as a particular case of the above-mentioned method. Keywords
