Abstract
We present the results of distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations for the reaction to unbound , , and analog states. Unlike the results of previous authors, our calculated angular distributions agree with experiment (to within 20%) at forward angles. We conclude that the distorted-wave Born approximation with single-particle form factors describes the reaction with as much accuracy as for bound final states.
