Accurate Description of the ReactionMo92(d,n)Tc93to Unbound Analog States

Abstract
We present the results of distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations for the reaction Mo92(d,n)Tc93 to unbound d52, s12, and d32 analog states. Unlike the results of previous authors, our calculated angular distributions agree with experiment (to within 20%) at forward angles. We conclude that the distorted-wave Born approximation with single-particle form factors describes the reaction with as much accuracy as for bound final states.
