Abstract
A number of amide and ester derivatives [tropic acid naphthalenemethylamide, acetyltropic acid naphthalenemethylester and acetyltropicamide] of tropic acid were chromatographed by using a commercially available covalently bonded HPLC [high performance liquid chromatography] chiral stationary phase, (R)-N-(3,5-dinitrobenzoyl)-phenylglycine. The amide derivatives, including pharmacologically important tropicamide, were resolved on this column, but the ester derivatives, including atropine, were not. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
