Level-crossing effects in optogalvanic spectroscopy

Abstract
Sub-Doppler width signals have been observed in the optogalvanic current when a magnetic field is altered through regions of Zeeman level crossings. It is shown that the signals can be interpreted as due entirely to population changes in the levels involved.Keywords
