Abstract
Intravenous gelatin given as a plasma substitute to cases of road traffic accidents, cystic endometritis and haemorrhagic gastroenteritis appeared to enhance the chances of recovery. Method, rate, volume and temperature of administration was not apparently critical. There seemed to be no other pharmacological interaction with other drugs or replacement fluids using gelatin. Keywords
