Abstract
Scintiscanning of the liver is an important examination in the detection of patients with both blunt and penetrating injury to the liver. This examination may define varying degrees of liver injury previously undetected. The scintigraphic recognition of hepatic injury does not necessarily dictate surgical intervention. Close clinical observation and conservative management may be used in selected instances as demonstrated by the cases reported here. Keywords
