Abstract
The immobility and absence of downward transport of Ca in bean plants has been established with Ca45. Bean leaves treated with Ca45 Cl2 and subsequently anesthetized with di-ethyl ether transported considerable quantities of Ca from the site of application to all other parts of the plant as demonstrated by autoradiography. In the absence of ether no transport of Ca45 occurred out of the treated leaf. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
