Abstract
Early cinchonism developed in an 18-year-old girl after the ingestion of 3.84 g of quinine sulfate, in an attempt to induce abortion. Initially, the exact dose was unknown and she was treated with peritoneal dialysis. Although dialysis was begun after the peak plasma levels had passed, 415 mg (10.8%) were recovered in the dialysate fluid over the next 16 hr.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
