Abstract
To determine whether or not normal urine is supersaturated with calcium phosphate determinations of pH, calcium concentration, inorganic phosphorus concentration, and ionic strength were made on 24 hour specimens. H2PO4-, HPO4=, and PO4=, as well as the ion product (Ca++)3 (PO4-)2, were calculated. Results showed that the urines were considerably undersaturated with tricalcium phosphate. Keywords
