Abstract
A variation in dentition found to be common to Australian Chalinolobus Peters weakens the distinction between the latter and African Glauconycteris Dobson, and the two are therefore concluded to be indistinguishable above the subgeneric rank. Chalinolobus picatus Gould and C. nigrogtiseus Gould are compared and found to be distinct species. Chalinolobus dwyeri is described as a new species. The characters of C. morio Gray and the three above forms are compared. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
