Abstract
The survey endorsed the traditional teaching with regard to human septal surgery. When performed for nasal obstruction due to blockage of the airway by the deviated septium, long-term improvement in nasal airways was usual. Providing the dorsal and caudal margins of the septum were maintained, changes in external appearance even after 2 yr were minimal and changes when noted seldom seem the cause of cosmetic concern. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
