Abstract
Gravitational perturbations on a mildly charged Kerr black hole are analyzed. These perturbations distort the static electromagnetic field to give rise to electromagnetic radiation. A wave equation for the electromagnetic radiation is derived in the Newman-Penrose formalism.Keywords
