Abstract
The clinical child psychologist has unique opportunities to serve in pediatric health facilities. This is so by virtue of the psychologist's multi-faceted background of developmental knowledge and clinical skills. This paper reports two clinical interventions relying on both clinical expertise and familiarity with appropriate research data. The child patients and their parents were provided with psychological support during crises in their lives associated with the massive reconstructive facial surgery needed by the children.
