Abstract
While continuing work on a systematic revision of North American mites of the family Blattisocidae (= Aceosejidae), I have received from Mr. R. S. Soper, Jr., females of an undescribed species of mite with singular morphological attributes and an unusual association with an insect host. This species is given separate preliminary treatment in order to permit reference to it in ecological studies by Soper and Olson (in preparation). Keywords
