Abstract
Five accurate absolute polarization values for elastic scattering of protons from carbon have been measured in the energy region between 4.6 and 7.2 MeV. These results were used as the basis for polarization measurements on and near the scattering anomalies at 5.38, 5.88, and 9.13 MeV in . Differential cross sections were also measured at the same energies as the polarizations.
