Upper 10% and 25% points of the maximum F ratio

Abstract

To protect against a Type II error, experiments often wish to choose an α level larger than the conventional 5% or 1%. This paper gives the critical values for the maximum F ratio of Hartley (1950) for the 10% and 25% points.
