Abstract
Two types of oro‐facial skeletal lesions were observed in copper deficient swine. Condylar changes which closely resembled those previously noted in long bones of copper deficient pigs were observed. Changes in the alveolar bones included decreased osteogenesis, a marked increase in osteoclasts with a resulting increase of hone resorption and a marked loss of marrow cellular elements with a fibrous tissue replacement.
