High-Energy Limit of Form Factors

This theorem is proved: For finite charge renormalization constant ${Z_3}^{-1\mathrm{}}$, the form factors describing any vertex with two particles on the mass shell must vanish at infinite momentum transfer. The relation of this result to the work of Lehmann, Symanzik, and Zimmermann is discussed.
