Abstract
THE ABSTRACT is an important part of a biomedical publication, frequently read and easily accessed through computerized bibliographic databases. The abstract should help the reader decide whether reading the whole article is relevant to his or her subject. However, previous findings indicate that clinical decisions are made based on reading the abstract alone, without referring to the full text.1Keywords
