Abstract
The ability of a number of selected peat soil types from Glenamoy, Co. Mayo, to fix nitrogen has been investigated and correlated with the occurrence of blue-green algal species in the soil. The ability of the blue-green algal isolates to fix nitrogen actively has also been determined. Keywords
