Abstract
It is established that the dark zone in impedance-mirror streak-camera records defines the reaction-zone region in detonating liquid explosives. A strongly boostered solution of 75/25 nitromethane/acetone shows a shortened reaction zone out to about 25 cm of free run. The steady-state reaction time is 0.4 μsec. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
