Abstract
Measurements of the total cross section of have been analyzed with the use of a multilevel formula, under the assumption that the observed resonance asymmetries are due to interference in a small number of fission channels. As was the case for , the analysis is interpreted as evidence that there are differences in the average fission widths of resonances belonging to the two possible spin states of the compound nucleus.
