Abstract
The large deflection of a clamped circular plate on elastic foundation under nonuniform but symmetrical loads has been investigated following Berger's approximate method. The deflections are obtained in the form of an infinite series involving Bessel functions. Graphs are plotted for deflections, bending moments, and bending stresses for various values of foundation modulus and load functions.Keywords
