Abstract
PINNINQ OF DISSOCIATED DISLOCATIONS BY THE SUZUKI EFFECT; KINETIC ASPECTS The lunetics of the pinning of dissociated dislocations by the Suzuki effect have been studied from the evolution of the yield point after a relaxation (static ageing). Experiments have been made on three alloys : Cu-4 st.% Si, Cu-8 at.% Si and Cu-9 at.% Ge. The results are discussed and theoretical arguments concerning the equilibrium Suzuki effect and filling kinetics are considered. We show that pinning is largest in the alloy with the lowest content of alloying element and that only dislocations less than 25% filled are active, when drawing is resumed after relaxation, PINNING OF DISSOCIATED DISLOCATIONS BY THE SUZUKI EFFECT; KINETIC ASPECTS The kinetics of the pinning of dissociated dislocations by the Suzuki effect have been studied from the evolution of the yield point after a relaxation (static ageing).
