Abstract
X-irradiation of intact rats with 700 r had little effect on the concentrations of oxidized and reduced diphosphopyridine nucleotide (DPN) of liver, while a dose of 980 r lowered the level of reduced DPN by 15-32% without significantly altering the amount of oxidized coenzyme. The decreased DPNH content was apparent 15 hours after exposure and still evident at 77 hours. Possible explanations for these results were discussed. Keywords
