Abstract
A case of subarachnoid hemorrhage was reported in an 11 mo. old infant with tragic outcome. Radiological investigation showed an anterior communicating aneurysm, and postmortem examination confirmed the aneurysm to be a berry aneurysm. There were typical signs of fibromuscular hyperplasia of the renal arteries and the microscopic findings are discussed. Having both aneurysms and fibromuscular hyperplasia is rare in such a small child, and a suggested association of these entities is reviewed. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
