Raman-Scattering Studies in LiF Crystals Containing Manganese

Abstract
The resonant frequencies of a manganese impurity in a LiF crystal are calculated by using a method due to Brout and Visscher but with a modified density of one-phonon states. These results are compared with experimental observations and fair agreement is found.Keywords
