Abstract
The previously published exact expressions (Wait 1955) for scattering from a homogeneous dielectric cylinder are reduced to a simple form when the radius is very small compared with the wavelength. It is shown that, for this limiting case, the resonance scattering condition is independent of the polarization and angle of incidence of the incident wave. Keywords
