Abstract
PREVIEWAs the incidence of serious Staphylococcus aureus infection continues to increase in developed nations, physicians must search for answers—not just about how the pathogen emerges but what can be done to control its proliferation. In this article, Dr Weems discusses the most common life-threatening manifestations of S aureus infection, emphasizing causal factors, clinical features, and established approaches to treatment. Keywords
