Abstract
Growth of alveolar lobules produced by injection of testosterone into gonadectomized male rats was not observed in hypophysectomized-gonadectomized rats treated with testosterone-thyroxine-cortisone, testosterone-insulin-cortisone, or testosterone-thyroxine-insulin-cortisone. An abnormal elongation of side buds and duct epithelial hyperplasia and proliferation occurred most prominently in the testosterone-insulin-cortisone group. A marked increase in body length and weight was observed in the testosterone-thyroxine-insulin-cortisone group. Keywords
