Abstract
The double Auger rate of Li in which two electrons are emitted simultaneously was calculated using many-body perturbation theory with -coupled intermediate states. The final states considered were , , , and . The ratio of the double Auger rate to the single rate is found to be 0.0728, or approximately 6.8% of the total Auger rate.
