Abstract
The temp, of rabbits'' liver and of lung was measured by inserting thermocouples into the parenchyma of these organs; the rectal temp, by a Hg thermometer. In 7 normothermic rabbits the liver temp, was consistently higher than either the lung or rectal temps. The lung temp, was usually higher than the rectal. The mean differences were as follows: The liver 0.18[degree]C higher than the lung; the liver was 0.29t higher than the rectal temp.; and the lung O.11[degree]C higher than the rectal temp. Keywords
