Abstract

Food consumption (minnows) and weight gained by individual brook trout held at six temperatures within the range 3.5° to 21.0°C. are described relative to their body weight. The trout consumed most food and made best growth at 13°C. Utilization for growth of food consumed declined with increase in temperature.
